Mast General Store recently announced the purchase of the Lourie’s building at 1601 Main Street, right next door to the Fox Theater (future home of the Nickelodeon). This is exciting news for Columbia, and further evidence that Main Street, especially the 1600 block, is on the verge of a major revitalization. Look at us!  We’ve just launched our brand new website movethenick.org!!!  This will be THE place to learn about all of the exciting things in the Nickelodeon’s future, keep track of how our capital campaign is going, see videos and photos, and, of course, find ways you can help make our move a reality.

We are really excited to get to work with Mad Monkey on this project.  In addition to this site, they’ve put together some tremendous media for us that will be rolled out soon.
