Mast General Store recently announced the purchase of the Lourie’s building at 1601 Main Street, right next door to the Fox Theater (future home of the Nickelodeon). This is exciting news for Columbia, and further evidence that Main Street, especially the 1600 block, is on the verge of a major revitalization.
